Get your youth tournament report and photo

published in Let’s Play Hockey

You’re youth hockey team has just fared well in a tournament, and you’re ready to let the hockey-loving readers of Let’s Play Hockey to know about it.

You’ve come to the right spot.

Articles are printed based on when they are received by Let’s Play Hockey. Due to space considerations, shorter articles have a better chance of getting into the paper than longer articles. With a half page of space, we would prefer in most cases to print two different tournament reports rather than one long report.

If you’re sending a photo (JPG or TIFF, high resolution), the ideal length is about 180 words. If you don’t have a photo, the ideal length is 500. Articles will be edited beginning at either 180 words with a photo, or 500 words without a photo.

Send the article as plain text or as a Microsoft Word attachment.

Send the photo as an attachment (not as part of a document).

Send it to editor@letsplayhockey.com and keep checking Let’s Play Hockey each week to see your report. Due to space and the volume of youth hockey reports we receive, we’re unable to know in advance when your article will appear in the paper.
