Description: Dave Perri becomes your personal hockey trainer for the off-season.  He’ll train you both on and off the ice.  At his off-ice training site, he’ll train you in small groups so you get lots of individual attention on your hands and shot, as well as lots of repetition.  Then, he’ll run you through some innovative and effective training techniques that you won’t find anywhere else.

Special Features: LOTS of individual attention, boxing workouts, slideboard workouts, yoga/stretching instruction, full weight-training set up, agility ladders/quick feet instruction, sledgehammer workouts (like the UFC fighters do), breakdancing workouts (for rhythm and balance), plus many more fun and effective exercises designed to help get you over plateaus in your training and avoid burn-out in the off-season.

Description: High intensity training for the skater that is interested in taking their game to the next level.  Heavy emphasis on power skating and overspeed training.  Wide variety of drills with an emphasis of the puck being on the skater’s stick at all times.  Each participant will be on the ice 2 times per week over an 8-week time period.  Each ice time is followed by a creative and hockey specific dry land program.  Three-vs.-three cross ice games, with coaches provided, are offered on Fridays for Mite-Bantam level and Tuesday evening for high school and college men and women.  Private/small group training provided before school mid-September to March.

Special Features: Participants can make up any missed ice time for any reason by attending a different age appropriate session of their choosing.

Special Features: Talented and experienced coaching staff makes the Carroll Goalie School unique.  Together, they have more than 60 years of goalie coaching experience at the youth, high school and college levels.  The coaches are from Minnesota, have extensive knowledge of the goalie position and do an exceptional job explaining, demonstrating and reinforcing the proper techniques.  Ice time conveniently scheduled in the evening and over the weekend.  Goalies receive free jersey, special giveaways and equipment discounts.

Description: The camp is designed to train 3 times per week for 5 ½ weeks.  Two sessions per week are skill development sessions.  One time per week is a game.  The skill development sessions involve one hour of ice time for mites and 1 ½  hours for the other groups.  There is also 1 ¼ hours of off-ice training.  Off-ice training includes plyometrics (appropriate for each age group), puck skills, cross training, and classroom training.

Special Features: We also offer the PDP Day Camp for parents that work and need “day care” for the kids.  Parents can drop off the kids on the way to work (we open at 7:00 a.m.) and pick them up before 5:00 p.m.  This service is an extra cost, but allows kids to take part in a development camp without giving up their other sporting opportunities.  Activities include recreational games, reading or math time, arts and crafts, and other activities.

Sessions: Day camp.  PDP Hockey School begins June 10th and runs through July 24th.  We take the week of June 29th -July 3rd off.

Description: Each week of camp will have 3 different camps going on at one time.  The boys’ camp has a squirt group, a peewee group, and goalie camp for squirts and peewees.  The girls’ week has a U-10/U-12 group, a U14/High School group, and a girls’ goalie camp.  Saint Mary’s University offers tremendous facilities to give the players many different development opportunities.  Players will have 3 ice sessions per day.  The first ice session will concentrate on individual skills.  The second session will concentrate on team skills.  The third ice session will be a game so that players can take the different skills that they have worked on and implement them into a game situation immediately.  The other activities will be a mixture of classroom sessions, plyometric sessions, and recreational sessions just to name a few.

Special Features: The goaltenders will have 2 to 3 separate sessions per day that will be goalie development sessions.  They will also be combined with their specific age group for some of the practices and games to get the maximum amount of development time and opportunity.

Description: We have a new location and have now partnered with Hat Trick Sports and Integrity Sports International (ISI) to develop a tri-fecta, or Hat Trick of teams with one goal in mind, and that is maintaining a positive and fun environment for players of all ages to develop to the best of their ability.  In addition to our unmatched off-ice training, our new facility has two ice sheets that measure approximately 130’ x 65’ and 110’ x 55’.  These surfaces provide the optimal training value for 3-on-3 and small ice games.  The August Hockey Camp offers the latest in skill development protocols and are facilitated in our state-of-the-art training center.  Our training protocols are designed by current and former NHL players, coaches, and trainers.  Players will receive 30 hours of intense skill development at this camp.  This is a 2-week program with daily training that includes: 14 hours in the Total Hockey West Skill Training Center, 16 hours of on-ice skills development, and performance tracking and benchmarking.  Skills focused on will include: quick hands, quick feet, vision improvement, puck control, improved skating, first-step quickness, harder shots, shooting accuracy, and building confidence.
