The girls tournaments also are included, starting with Apple Valley’s state title in 1995, when just four teams competed at Aldrich Arena, and ending with 2003-04 state titles by Benilde-St. Margaret’s and Elk River. The coverage from the girls tourney after 2000 is also included as an addendum.
