Inaugural Let’s Play Baseball/Let’s Play Softball Expo set for Canterbury Park

The first annual Let’s Play Baseball/Let’s Play Softball Expo will take place the weekend of April 14, 2007 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee.

The Expo is free to the public and will showcase the latest baseball and softball products, training aids and other equipment geared specifically for ball players of every age.

The 2006 American League Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins will have a significant presence at the Expo. Twins coaches and players will participate in the Play Ball! Minnesota conference hosts more than 400 coaches and other interested adults for a day of instruction, learning and development.

The Expo will also consist of interactive activities, batting cages, coaching tips, sports and media celebrities, product seminars, sports cards and memorabilia.

The Expo is being produced by Let’s Play Hockey, which has assembled the Let’s Play Hockey Expo during the boy’s high school hockey tournament for the past 18 years, attracting more than 25,000 fans to more than 200 exhibit booths.
